Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end from American football, who was a part of the National Football League. He played for 17 years playing on the field. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends, he holds the NFL record for most receiving yards for all tight ends. Gonzalez is also ranked as the third-highest player in terms of number of receptions.
A former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. From the beginning of 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez is a regular for FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour-long NFL pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFL Sunday, which airs every Sunday at 11:15 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign with the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million contract despite claiming that he would be retiring following the 2013 season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season was the last as NFL receiving yard leader.
